摄像机是有人的，而且是专业的团队，负责24小时的跟拍，但是负责拍摄的人和选手之间不可以有任何的交集，讲话、手势都不行，包天晚上换班，换完之后把录影带拿回制作营地，给Jeff和制作组分析，所以每次部落大会前，jeff对所有问题都是一清二楚的。

7月18日，美国CBS电视台公布了新一季的真人秀节目《Survivor》的播出时间，即9月20日晚上8:00-9:00。这一季的Survivor做出了不少改变。其制作人Mark Burnett早前曾经透露说：“我们改变了以往都选在热带岛屿进行拍摄的路子，这次我们将去中国内地古老而又神秘的地方进行拍摄。这也是美国首次有全季电视剧在中国登陆。”他还说：“这一季将有16名参赛者，并且这一次将不会设置流放岛，被藏起来的个人豁免神像也就在参赛者的眼皮底下。”这一季的Survivor目前正在我国江西省九江市的柘林湖进行拍摄，预计8月2号左右其拍摄工作将要告一段落。这里这么说是因为国外Survivor的fan建立的网站上基本都有这样一条还未经证实的小道消息，说16季可能将仍会在中国进行拍摄（猜测中的拍摄地还有另一个地方），偶们知道，16季是All-Star，也就是全明星赛。
